How a Quiz Helped Me Grow My Business (and My Email List)

When I set out to create a quiz for my business, I had big dreams for it to serve my clients as much as it served my growth goals. My clients are big dreamers—some of them are just starting out and unsure of their next steps, while others have been in business a while but feel out of alignment, searching for a way to reconnect with the work they love. I wanted a quiz that spoke to these different paths, providing insights and next steps no matter where they were on their journey.

Why a Quiz?

The quiz, titled Get Out of Your Funk and Back to Your “Why”: Find Your Wedding Photographer Passion Blueprint, was designed to deliver just that—a reset for creatives to reignite their purpose and receive a clear, custom roadmap forward. It’s not about a simple fix but about rediscovering what makes their business unique, what direction they’re headed, and how they can get there. I chose a quiz built with Interact because it lets people engage at their own pace, receive tailored insights, and gain actionable steps. And for me, it’s done wonders by meeting potential clients where they are, even if they’re not ready to fill out a contact form just yet.
