Designing the website for Will Degraw, the photographer behind Clever Disarray, was an exciting project that allowed us to break away from the typical wedding photography aesthetic. Will’s approach is all about capturing real, unfiltered moments, especially through his preferred medium—film photography. He wanted a non-traditional website that reflected his unique style, so we created a custom site on Showit that truly embodies his vision.
Aesthetic Direction: Non-Traditional and Authentic
We customized a template from Tonic Site Shop on Showit to create a site that feels as authentic and unique as Will’s work. The design is minimalistic, with a muted, natural color palette that enhances the timeless quality of his film photography. One standout feature is the use of Will’s handwriting, which we converted into a custom font—adding a personal touch that reinforces the authenticity he values.

The Showit website highlights Will’s preference for film, showcasing large, high-quality images that emphasize the texture and depth unique to this medium. The design is clean and unpretentious, steering clear of wedding photography clichés and instead focusing on the raw, genuine moments Will captures.
