I get inside your business.

Before I design anything, I want to know what you’ve built, who you want to work with, where you’re trying to go, what you love, what you hate, and all the stuff you haven’t quite figured out how to put into words yet. Through my questionnaires, your inspiration, and our conversations, I start piecing together the bigger picture.

Step two

Finding the common thread.

This is the part I’ve gotten pretty darn good at. I take the Pinterest board, the screenshots, your answers, your work, your half-formed ideas, and the things you know you don’t want, and figure out what belongs together. That becomes the direction for your website, from the visual identity and page flow to the messaging and the way we present your work.

Step three

Building Your Website

Then I turn that direction into your Showit website. You’ll see the site as it comes together (daily updates!), hear why I made the decisions I did, and have opportunities to give feedback along the way. You’re not expected to art-direct the project, but you’re also not disappearing for weeks and crossing your fingers.

We make damn sure it’s ready (and launch!)

Before launch, I fine-tune the desktop and mobile experience, optimize your site for SEO, connect the important pieces, test everything, and make sure you know how to use it. Then we put it out into the world!

Showit Website design

Do you do SEO optimization?

Yes! We perform detailed SEO optimization on your website, including keyword research, text tags, page titles, meta descriptions, and more. We’ll also help walk you through some tips for naming your images and writing your content for optimal SEO. Jill Houser, one of our recent clients, moved from page 6 to page 1 on Google (that's over 50 spots!)

When does the homework need to be completed?

The homework will need to be completed and submitted the Friday before your start date, or ideally sooner than that. We charge an additional $250 fee for projects that are delayed due to late homework - this will throw your entire project off schedule.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We require a 25% deposit to book the date to work, 25% the day before your scheduled start date, and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project. The balance must be paid in full before the final designs are delivered.

What if I'm looking for a fully custom package?

We can help with that, too! Please fill out our inquiry form and we can give you a custom quote.

What if I'm not a wedding photographer?

We typically work with wedding photographers, but not exclusively. We've also done brands and websites for interior designers, wedding planners, coaches, business managers, and family/lifestyle photographers. Please don't hesitate to reach out - we very rarely say no, and even if we're not the best fit for your industry, we can point you in the direction of someone who is!

How soon can we get started?

We normally have a 1 month wait list. Our design process includes a two part homework assignment that's due on the project start date, so the further in advance you inquire and book, the better! Once you select a date, sign the contract, and pay the deposit, you're officially on the schedule!
