The Best Showit Templates For Wedding Photographers

I get it. Choosing a Showit website template and making a huge decision about your business is HARD. There’s so much out there. How do you choose?

When I was in my first few years in business as a wedding photographer, I can’t tell you how many templates I bought. I was constantly searching for the one that would finally make my business feel like it was legit. And here’s where I went wrong – I think I bought what felt pretty without doing the work to understand what would work best for my business and what would work best for me moving forward.

I didn’t ask the important questions. What do I want my clients to feel when they first land on my site? How large do I want my images to be? Would I prefer a minimal layout or something more content-heavy? What kind of navigation style do I prefer? Where is it leading people? How many clicks does it take to get to the contact page?

A beautiful homepage is important, but it’s only one piece of the puzzle. The right template should introduce people into your world and show them who you are and what your style is before they even reach out to work with you.

I know it seems like an overwhelmingly difficult decision to make, but I’ve put together a list of my favorite Showit templates for wedding photographers, along with a helpful summary of each one, so you can get a better idea of who they’re for and the strategy behind each design.

Reverie

Reverie was created for the photographers who pride themselves not just on the images they create, but on the legacy they provide. For the photographers who don’t just deliver images on a USB. For them, it’s something deeper. If a large part of your business is albums, heirloom artwork, or preserving family history, this is the template for you.

With an editorial feel and plenty of room to tell a story, Reverie was designed to slow visitors down and encourage them to linger. It’s especially well suited for photographers who want their website to feel timeless, intentional, and every bit as meaningful as the experience they provide.

This template is for you if your clients are investing in artwork, albums, and photographs they’ll pass down for generations.

Bailey

The Bailey template is an excellent choice for adventure elopement photographers with its not-so-subtle boho vibes. Chilled out, down to earth, but still with top-tier taste. With bold titles and saturated imagery, the copy and images effortlessly lead the viewer down the page, with multiple CTAs to explore more.

To put it simply, Bailey is great for photographers who are down to earth, approachable, and wouldn’t be caught dead photographing another church wedding. It’s built for businesses that revolve around mountaintops, deserts, coastlines, and couples who’d rather write their own rules than follow tradition.

This template is for you if your ideal wedding day includes hiking boots, windblown hair, and absolutely no ballroom.

PS – The Bailey template is by far, our best selling template of all time.

Emslie

The perfect blend of professionalism and whimsy. A soft color palette, elegant spacing, intuitive navigation, and sophisticated fonts, Emslie is the perfect (ahem) marriage between refinement and spontaneity.

It’s a beautiful fit for photographers who want to attract classic, timeless weddings without feeling overly traditional. If your work leans romantic, joyful, and effortlessly elegant, Emslie gives it the room to shine.

This template is for you if your couples love timeless style with just enough personality to make it feel like their own.

Dakota

Dakota is for the photographer whose clients are planning an experience, not just a wedding day. Every page was designed to feel intentional, immersive, and a little unexpected, encouraging visitors to slow down and explore.

One of my favorite features is the animated number counters, which let you showcase the coordinates of some of your favorite places to photograph. It’s a subtle detail, but one that immediately makes the website feel more personal and memorable.

This template is for you if your work is equal parts adventurous and refined.

How to Choose the Best Showit Template for Your Wedding Photography Business

Before you fall in love with a template, ask yourself these questions:

What type of weddings do I want to book more of?

Not necessarily the weddings you’re photographing today, but the ones you hope fill your calendar a year from now.

What words do I hope my couples would use to describe my brand?

Elegant? Adventurous? Editorial? Relaxed? Romantic? Your website should reinforce that feeling from the moment someone lands on it.

Does this template fit my personality?

The best websites feel like a natural extension of the photographer behind them. If you’re laid back and playful, your website should reflect that. If you’re more refined and editorial, lean into that instead.

Can I picture my own work here?

Try to ignore the demo photos for a minute. Would you still love the layout if every image were replaced with your own?

Does it have the pages my business actually needs?

Think beyond the homepage. Do you need space for albums? Education? Travel information? A blog? Guides?

Will this still fit my business in a few years?

Choose a template you can grow into, not one you’ll outgrow.

A quick note on strategy and SEO.

One thing I’ve learned after more than 15 years of designing websites is that a great website is about so much more than fonts, colors, and beautiful imagery.

Every decision I make, from the order of the sections to the size of the images, the placement of calls to action, and even the way pages are organized, is intentional. My goal is to create a website that feels effortless to navigate, encourages visitors to keep exploring, and naturally leads them to your contact form.

The same goes for SEO. A strong foundation starts long before you ever publish your first blog post. A thoughtfully organized website, clear page structure, and strategic layouts all make it easier to build on that foundation as your business grows.

A beautiful website will catch someone’s attention. A strategic website gives them a reason to stay.

Over the years, I’ve learned that choosing a Showit template has very little to do with picking the prettiest homepage.

The right template should feel like you. A long time ago I heard someone say “Your website is your storefront. Your blog is your voice.” and it stuck with me ever since. It should make your work stand out, support the way you serve your clients, and grow with you over time.

I spent 6 years photographing weddings before I ever started building websites for wedding photographers. Those years taught me so much: what couples are looking for in a photographer, what makes them hesitate, what gets them excited enough to reach out, and how a website can either reinforce your value or unfortunately leave hard-earned money on the table.

My goal has never been to create beautiful websites just for the sake of being beautiful. My websites are strategically designed to reach clients on a deep emotional level, to help them picture themselves in your work, and to lead them to the contact form (while still looking beautiful.)
