It’s been a few years since I first dipped my toes into the world of Interact quizzes, and wow, my approach has definitely evolved. What started as a creative way to help people reconnect with their passion (hello, “Find Your Wedding Photographer Passion Blueprint”) has grown into something more refined, tarot-inspired, and totally aligned with where I am now. The latest version, “Discover Your Brand Archetype,” keeps the heart of the original but presents it in a way that feels more magical, more universal, and more me. I’m a firm believer that your marketing should grow with you. When it does, it not only feels more fun and true to who you are, it usually works better too.
Ok, let’s get to it…
Here’s What I’ve added: I have two new quizzes!
Which Showit Template is Right for You? This quiz was created as a lead magnet to promote on Pinterest. The jury is still out on the success of this one!
Custom Design vs. Template, Which Is Right For You? This is a main lead magnet at the top of our website. I don’t collect email addresses with this one.
What I’ve changed: One thing I’ve recently done – redirect every quiz result to its own page rather than use the build in results in Interact. I find this creates a smoother transition from quiz to result, and keeps the results branded to look the same as my website pages.
What continues to work: My Custom Design vs Template quiz is by far the most successful – it has had double the traffic, and twice as many starts and completions as the others. One very distinguishing difference here – I’m not collecting email addresses. I want to give them results with no ask in return. Sometimes promoting services can get “sticky,” as I like to say. Often times people will click off a page just by being asked to give their email address. By removing this friction point I’m getting more completions and more people looking at my services (which is the ultimate goal, right?). Basically, it makes things less transactional and more personal, which is a win in my book. Sometimes the best ‘conversion’ isn’t collecting an email, it’s creating a moment of resonance.

Would a quiz work for you?
If you’re a photographer, creative business owner, or service provider of any kind, chances are… yes. Quizzes are such a fun, low-pressure way to connect with your audience, showcase your personality, and guide people toward the right fit, whether that’s a service, a product, or just a deeper understanding of what they need. The key is making sure it sounds like you, feels fun for them, and leads to something meaningful. If you’re clear on what your audience is struggling with and what transformation you offer, you can absolutely turn that into a quiz that educates, connects, and converts — without feeling salesy or forced.
