Brand & Custom Showit Website for Michelle K. Martin

Michelle K. Martin is an experienced wedding photographer who made the switch from a day job where she worked in event planning and operations into a full-time creative business owner. After running her business on the side for 5+ years, Michelle knew she was ready to go full time photographing intimate weddings, engagements, and couples sessions.

Still, she had just made the move to Portland, Maine and had the challenge of establishing herself in a new market and being full time in her business for the first time ever! Not to mention the fact that her market was challenging because many of her couples don’t live in the area year round, which makes them harder to target through her marketing!

While her systems were flowing well on the backend of her business and she had success in the past getting bookings from word-of-mouth (her clients LOVE her!), she was ready to book a higher-end client and finally focus on quality over quantity in her inquiries.

With the recent life change to a new locale, Michelle was ready to switch her focus to weddings that inspired her and couples that are ready and willing to invest more into their wedding photography.

We had quite the task ahead of us to totally revamp her website and, by extension, level up Michelle’s client experience through a website that would draw them in through the power of her photography. After all, her keen nature as an observer translates so beautifully into the way she approaches documentary-style photography, and I knew how important it would be to capture this in her website!

In the branding process, we gave Michelle a new set of logos and brand visuals that communicate the modern feel and elevated level of service she provides.

Next, her website got a complete makeover with the Claremont template as a base, where we could greet visitors with cozy, intimate, joy-filled imagery. And, of course, we simply had to show off some lobsters and images of the coast to really bring the coastal Maine vibes full circle. The end result is something we’re both so obsessed with, as are her clients!

As your business evolves, so should your brand and visuals. It’s SO important to have a visual presence that reflects your style, your values, and truly appeals to your ideal client.

If you know you’re ready to take your brand in the direction of your dreams, let’s start the conversation and see if a brand and website from The Buffalo Collective could be the perfect fit for your business!
