We’ll send over some homework. This allows us to gather everything we'll need (copy, images, fonts, logos, etc) prior to your scheduled start date, so when that date comes, we can move forward full steam ahead. The homework will be due the Friday before your start date. It's very important that this is completed before your start date, or we cannot guarantee that your project will stay on schedule.

On day one, we'll lay the foundations. We'll get your colors, fonts, logos, and images uploaded and in place within your account. We'll also start working on your two custom pages.

On day 3, we'll have a mid-way progress call (or check-in via Loom). We'll ask you to review the custom pages we've redesigned, and while we're waiting for feedback, we'll keep working on your remaining 5 pages.

We'll check in again at the end of day 4 with a Loom video. Your site should be about 90% done at this point!

The home stretch! We'll spend the final day tidying up the last few pages, optimizing SEO, and creating 5-6 launch graphics for you to use on social media to promote your big launch!

We'll check in a few weeks later to see how things are going, how your site is performing, collect testimonials, and to see if there's any additional work you need done!

Yes! Unless you've already purchased a template prior to booking, in which case we'll subtract the cost of the template from your total balance. Please note that this only applies to (and we only work with) templates from our own shop!
The homework will need to be completed and submitted the Friday before your start date, or ideally sooner than that. We charge an additional $250 fee for projects that are delayed due to late homework - this will throw your entire project off schedule.
Yes! We require a 25% deposit to book the date to work, 25% the day before your scheduled start date, and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project. The balance must be paid in full before the final designs are delivered. Please keep in mind that we have strict late fees for homework/feedback that isn't on time, because this throws off your entire project timeline - so plan carefully if you book during your busy season!
Yes! Once we finish up, the site is all yours to update as often as you like. We provide you with personalized Showit and Wordpress tutorials that should cover any basic updates (text, images, etc) and Showit has an extensive collection of tutorials and help articles. Additionally, Showit has an amazing support team that can help with any issues, and we're always available to answer questions as well! We're here to help!
We perform basic SEO optimization on your website, including keywords, h1 tags, page titles, and meta descriptions. We’ll also help walk you through some tips for naming your images and writing your content for optimal SEO. If you’re interested in an additional boost we have a list of SEO experts we can refer you to for top-tier expertise!
We typically work with wedding photographers, but not exclusively. We've also done brands and websites for interior designers, wedding planners, coaches, business managers, and family/lifestyle photographers. Please don't hesitate to reach out - we very rarely say no, and even if we're not the best fit for your industry, we can point you in the direction of someone who is!
